In case you missed it, we’ve been working on some pretty Good Stuff here at TAXIBOX in 2023. Upcycling our TAXIBOX covers, hosting native plant giveaways, supporting charities in need; our team’s been working hard behind the scenes, paving the way for a sustainable future at TAXIBOX HQ – and our latest project is no exception.
We’ve Partnered with Carbon Neutral
If you haven’t heard about it already, TAXIBOX has partnered with Australia’s leading carbon offset provider, Carbon Neutral, as part of the Plant-a-Tree program (it’s ok if you missed the news – you can read all about it here). This program acts as part of an initiative we started earlier this year: planting one tree for every TAXIBOX booking.
TAXIBOX’s contribution to the Plant-a-Tree program with Carbon Neutral has meant that we’ve planted 2400+ trees in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor this year alone(!) To put that into perspective, that’s roughly 6+ footy fields worth of trees… and there are only more and more forests of TAXITREES to come.
How Many Trees From Here?
Our team has been loving getting more native trees into the ground as part of Western Australia’s most ambitious restoration project to date. Let’s be honest… how could we not be?
To guarantee we continue restoring the natural landscape of WA and growing our forest of TAXITREES, we decided to take a pledge of planting 5000 trees by the end of 2023.

Until we get those trees planted? We’re continuing to commit to sustainability here at TAXIBOX HQ, in areas both big and small.
For us, that looks like:
- Sourcing materials responsibly
- Creating a positive impact with clean energy
- Supporting our local communities
- Donating to charities that need it
